When life gives you eggs, make shakshuka. Not just any shakshuka. Make shakshuka with feta and cannellini beans. If you’re not a bean person, just substitute with chorizo of course.

Shakshuka is one of the most versatile and easy dish to make. I feel quite silly to have taken so long to make it myself. There’s so much soul and flavour in this dish thanks to the onions and spices (cumin, cayenne, paprika).

Everyone should have this dish in their arsenal of ‘things to impress your dinner guests with’.

I used the recipe by New York Times and I’ve been playing mix-and-match with it. Kidney beans, lentils, and even rose coco beans have proven to be an excellent match (i love my legumes).

No prizes for guessing what I’m having for lunch today 🙂
